Tadashi Takakura Designated Campus Colleague

Current Activities

-Dr. Takakura was originally a visiting professor to the BE Departmnent from Okinawa Agricultural Research Center, Japan in over 25 years ago. He spent much time working with Ken Jordan in the late 1980’s through the 1990’s and up until Ken died in 2005, taught a class for ten summers on “Simulation of Biological Systems” (ABE/CHEE/BME 482/582  last taught in 2008). He has more recently worked with Murat Kacira, Gene Giacomelli and Chieri Kubota; working on maintaining relationships for future research exchange opportunities.
