Extension
Connecting the university to our communities.
Partnering with communities and industries.
Cooperative Extension works to improve lives, communities and the economy through a statewide network of knowledgable faculty and staff. As part of our land-grant university, Cooperative Extension plays a critical role in our mission to educate our communities and empower the next generation of experts to grow sustainable regional and global economies, and to develop new knowledge and technologies to benefit society.
Extension Faculty
Our Cooperative Extension faculty and county agents are dedicated to helping growers of all experience levels master best practices in controlled environment, precision and mechanized agriculture, precision irrigation management, water quality and wastewater treatment systems - all while promoting sustainable water conservation. Through a variety of engaging formats, such as short courses, workshops and publications, they actively connect with community members and industry professionals to share knowledge and foster innovation in agriculture.
