We seek opportunities to make the most of Arizona's limited water resources and promote the state's prosperity through responsible water use.
Our researchers recognize the vital importance of water to the continued growth and prosperity in our state. Factors impacting our water use include climate change, increased urbanization and growth in certain agricultural sectors. We see opportunities for growth with underserved stakeholders in Arizona agriculture and municipal resources with engineering needs: Native American and Hispanic farmers and ranchers, urban landowners, and small commercial landscape, turfgrass and horticultural-related businesses.
